Administering Pro/INTRALINK 8.0 Course

Many of you have inquired about the nature and format of the new Pro/INTRALINK 8.0 Admin training class. For new release, we have an entirely new class designed to get admins up and running as fast as possible. The course itself is designed for both new admins as well as admins who are upgrading from 3.x. When you attend this course you will find the curriculum is designed to help all audiences understand what they need to know to administer this product. The course itself is 3 days in length and covers the following topics:

• Installing Pro/INTRALINK 8.0 Components
• Planning and creating user accounts and groups
• Planning and creating information storage locations: Products and Libraries
• Planning and configuring data management access control policies
• Planning and implementing data management templates
• Planning and configuring user notification of system events
• Managing data development and business processes through life cycles
• Working with Pro/INTRALINK administration support tools

If you are in North America, you will start seeing this class appear on the schedule in September with a full scale launch in October. For our worldwide audience, you will find a localized version of this class later on in the fall. One exciting feature of this new class is the use of simulated software so that you can practice tasks that have never been able to be done off a single workstation in a classroom environment.
