Pro/INTRALINK Data Migration Services

The pending release of the PTC Windchill 8.0 solution set has generated a lot of interest from the customer community. It should. It is an exciting release not only for PTC, but also it's customers. However, it conjures up questions, as well. For many Pro/INTRALINK 3.4 customers that are looking to get there, the question that invariably follows is, "how do we get there?" And, "how does our data get there?"

Migration. The prospects of a migration can be somewhat unsettling. This is understandable. They can be complex and disruptive in nature. PTC is committed to help. In addition to providing the software tool, the Pro/INTRALINK Data Migrator 8.0, this Data Migration section has been setup on the Pro/INTRALINK Advisor as an additional resource. Here you will find various resources to help you understand PTC's migration capabilities and tools and advice to help you get your arms around your own migration activities. Periodically, I'll be updating this blog to answer your Pro/INTRALINK 3.x migration questions and concerns as well as to communicate to you my migration experiences, and insights into the tools and process.

But it's not just about you hearing from PTC. We want to hear from you. I encourage your participation in this community - post your comments, see what others are saying. The more interactive this experience, the more valuable it will be for us all.

I look forward to hearing from you and will be talking to you soon.
